Soap for Hardwater (Single Bar)

Soap for Hardwater (Single Bar)

£5.50Price

Soap for Hardwater is specifically designed to produce a great lather and leave no residue in hard water and retain the moisture in your skin. Soap for Hardwater contains no detergents or additives, just using the chemistry of the ingredients and the cold pressed soap making process to achieve the results.

Handmade in the UK from 7 ingredients. Sodium and potassium hydroxide, water, coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil and beef fat (tallow). The glycerin content is 10%, which is great for your skin and helps retain the moisture in your skin.

When rain water passes through sedimentary rock it collects minerals such as Calcium and Magnesium along with other minerals. This is hard water and it effects the ability of soap to lather easily and work as intended, leaving a thin residue, typically resulting in dull skin and clogged pores. The minerals in hard water reduces the moisture of your skin leaving it dry and irritated. These were very similar to issues faced when washing in seawater which has a hardness typically 10 times greater than hard water.

Each hand moulded bar has an estimated weight of 120 grams. Length ~ 103 mm, width ~ 56 mm and depth ~ 21 mm. A flatter bar soap shape was created so we could ship a single bar within the large letter dimensions of the Royal Mail.

Packaged in a recycable cardboard envelope with no plastic packaging and the price includes shipping within the United Kingdom.
